Koi Pond (also known as aquatic gardens, water gardens, garden ponds, and backyard ponds) usually refer to a man-made pool with aquatic plants and ornamental fish. Items such as rocks, fountains, waterfalls and watercourses are also combined with the pool for aesthetics and enhancement of the local landscape and surroundings.
